Since launching in March 2025, Laughing at My Nightmare’s No More Nightmares Relief Fund provided over $20,000 in emergency financial assistance to more than 80 families with disabilities facing unexpected crises. These grants provided timely support for urgent needs, whether through essential expense assistance or direct help with specific items and modifications, helping individuals regain stability and independence during emergencies.Applications for this program will open up on 1/15/26.
The Goal
The goal of this program is to ensure that people with disabilities, who often face additional challenges during emergencies, have timely access to the resources they need to stabilize, stay safe, and move forward. The program also raises awareness about the disproportionate impact disasters and emergency situations have on the disability community.

How it Works
The No More Nightmares Relief Fund provides immediate assistance to individuals with disabilities affected by disasters and emergency situations. Support may be provided through a specific gift card for essential expenses or through direct assistance for a specific item or modification that addresses an urgent safety, health, mobility, or access need, up to $500. This timely support helps individuals manage urgent needs and regain stability during moments of crisis.
